ElixaMD Review: Is ElixaMD Legit?
ElixaMD is a US GLP-1 weight loss telehealth site that publishes a Newark, Delaware address, names its clinician network and its three partner pharmacies, and sells compounded GLP-1 injections at $99 for the first month, an introductory sale price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). Its public record is thin and poor: 24 Trustpilot reviews, 79% of them one star, and a BBB rating of D+ on a file opened in August 2026 (both read 29 October 2026). It shares its address, pharmacies, clinician wording and prices with MEDVi, which we also review.

Quick verdict
ElixaMD looks like MEDVi with a different name on it: the same Newark address, the same three pharmacies, the same clinician wording, the same first month and refill prices and the same page template. What it does not have is MEDVi's record. ElixaMD's Trustpilot profile is small and mostly one star, its BBB file was opened in August 2026 and is rated D+, and nothing on its site says who runs it. We could not confirm who operates ElixaMD. If the model appeals to you, MEDVi offers the same structure with a public record you can actually read; if you choose ElixaMD, pay for one month at a time and keep the refund policy to hand. We publish no rating and make no claim about results.

What does ElixaMD cost, and what does the first month cover?
ElixaMD's GLP-1 page (glp1.elixamd.com) prices compounded GLP-1 injections at $99 for the first month, an introductory sale price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). The first month figure sits in a "FALL Sale! Only $99 + Fast, Free Shipping" banner and a "Starting at $99" card, so it is a sale price, not the monthly cost.
What the first month covers, in ElixaMD's own words (the FAQ, read 29 October 2026): "The ElixaMD Semaglutide program starts at $99 for your first month with no contract. This cost covers your physician review, full personalized plan, 1:1 guidance, metabolic report, and the cost of the prescription medication shipped right to your door. Refills are locked in at $199 and include all the same program benefits."
One contradiction to settle before you pay. A tile on the same page pairs the first month figure with the words "Membership + Medication Cost", which reads as a membership fee with the medicine charged on top, while the FAQ says the figure includes the medication. The page does not say which is right. MEDVi's page has the same quirk, where the membership wording belongs to its branded medication route. Ask ElixaMD what your first charge and your first refill will be, in writing, before you give card details.
The prices on this page are read from ElixaMD's own page into our archive and shown with the day they were read; they are not typed. To see how the first month and refill figures sit against other providers over 3, 6 and 12 months, use our GLP-1 price index.

Who ElixaMD is best for
Readers who have seen an ElixaMD advert or search result and want to know what it is, what the first month and the refills cost, and what its public record shows before they pay. If you want the same price structure from a provider with a long public record, read our MEDVi review.
This profile is designed to help users compare the program before beginning intake. It is not a recommendation that any treatment is appropriate.
Pricing and access
Compounded GLP-1 injections are $99 for the first month, an introductory sale price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). ElixaMD's FAQ says the first month figure covers the physician review, a personalised plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report and the prescription medication shipped to your door, with no contract, and that refills include the same benefits.
The $99 is a first month sale price shown in a "FALL Sale!" banner, not the monthly cost: ElixaMD's FAQ says refills are locked in at $199. A tile on the same page pairs the first month figure with the words "Membership + Medication Cost", which reads as a membership fee on top of the medicine, while the FAQ says the figure covers the medication. MEDVi's page carries the same contradiction. Ask which applies before you pay.
US. ElixaMD's pages do not list the states it serves; eligibility is decided at the consultation.
Treatment, consultation, and delivery
Compounded GLP-1 injections for weight loss. ElixaMD states: "Prescriptions are issued only after an online consultation with an independent licensed provider. Compound medications are dispensed by state-licensed pharmacies but are not FDA approved." Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.
An online intake, then a consultation with a clinician from OpenLoop Health or the "CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s", the networks ElixaMD names on its site. The clinician decides whether to prescribe; a prescription is never guaranteed.
ElixaMD's sale banner says "Fast, Free Shipping"; its footer says medication is included in the program cost.
What is ElixaMD?
ElixaMD is a US online weight loss service. Its homepage calls it "Personalized Telehealth Care" and sells GLP-1 weight loss treatment by telehealth: you complete an online consultation, a clinician decides whether to prescribe, and a partner pharmacy ships compounded medication to your home. ElixaMD states that "Prescriptions are issued only after an online consultation with an independent licensed provider" and that "Compound medications are dispensed by state-licensed pharmacies but are not FDA approved" (elixamd.com, read 29 October 2026).
Its clinicians come from OpenLoop Health and what the site calls the "CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s". It names three partner pharmacies: Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama; RedRock Pharmacy in St. George, Utah; and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding in McKinney, Texas. Its contact details are help@elixamd.com, (303) 563-7471 and 131 Continental Dr. Ste 305, Newark, DE 19713. The footer links to the LegitScript checker for its domain; we did not retrieve the checker's result, so this page does not treat the link as a certification.
ElixaMD's pages do not say who owns or operates it. The address, the pharmacies, the clinician wording and the prices are the ones MEDVi publishes, which is covered in its own section below.

ElixaMD and MEDVi: what the two sites share
Reading ElixaMD's pages (29 October 2026) beside MEDVi's (our MEDVi review, built from MEDVi's own pages read 18 and 26 October 2026), the overlap is close to complete. Both publish the same street address, 131 Continental Dr. Ste 305, Newark, DE 19713. Both name the same three partner pharmacies: Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy (Red Rock Home Pharmacy on MEDVi's site) and Beaker Pharmacy. Both say their clinicians come from OpenLoop Health and the "CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s". Both price compounded GLP-1 injections as a first month sale price and a locked in refill price, $99 then $199 at ElixaMD (checked 31 October 2026) and $99 for the first month then $199 for refills at MEDVi (checked 31 October 2026). Both GLP-1 pages use the same template, down to the FAQ sentence about the first month and the "Membership + Medication Cost" tile.
These are observations about what the two sites publish, not a finding about ownership. ElixaMD's pages do not name an operator, and we could not confirm who operates ElixaMD or whether it is connected to MEDVi, LLC. What we can say is that a reader who has compared the two is comparing the same price structure, the same prescriber networks and the same pharmacies, and that the two differ in public record: MEDVi has an FDA warning letter, lawsuits and a large Trustpilot profile on the record, set out in full in our MEDVi review, while ElixaMD has a small Trustpilot profile and a BBB file opened in August 2026.

ElixaMD reviews and complaints: Trustpilot and the BBB
Trustpilot (trustpilot.com/review/elixamd.com, read 29 October 2026): 24 reviews. The star split was 13% five star, 0% four star, 0% three star, 8% two star and 79% one star. The profile was claimed in September 2025, and Trustpilot shows "No recent history of asking for reviews". 24 reviews is too few to read as a verdict on the service; it is enough to say that most of the people who wrote one were unhappy.
Better Business Bureau (bbb.org, Newark, Delaware, category Medical Consultants, read 29 October 2026): rating D+. The BBB gives two reasons: "Failure to respond to 1 complaint(s)" and "Length of time business has been operating". The BBB file was opened on 8 August 2026, so the business had been on the BBB's books for under three months when we read it. The profile shows the same Newark address and telephone number as elixamd.com.
We did not read individual reviews or complaints for their content and summarise none here. Neither Trustpilot nor the BBB is a clinical assessment, and neither says anything about whether treatment is right for you.

ElixaMD refunds and cancelling, in its own words
ElixaMD's cancellation and refund policy (elixamd.com/cancellation-and-refund-policy, read 29 October 2026) says you receive a full refund if you are disqualified by the healthcare provider for a medical reason. You can cancel at any time by emailing help@elixamd.com or through the chat in the patient portal. The policy also says there is no guarantee of results.
Those are the three points we recorded from the policy. If it says anything about a refund for a month already charged, or about medication that has already shipped, we did not record it, so read the policy page in full before you pay, and ask how much notice a cancellation needs before the next billing date. Its FAQ says there is no contract.

Is ElixaMD legit?
We do not rate whether a provider is legitimate. What is on the record: ElixaMD publishes a postal address, a telephone number and an email address; it names its clinician networks (OpenLoop Health, CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s) and its three dispensing pharmacies; it states that its compounded medications are not FDA approved and that prescriptions follow a consultation; and it links to the LegitScript checker for its domain, whose result we did not retrieve, so we do not treat the link as a certification.
Against that: its BBB file is young (opened 8 August 2026) and rated D+ with one unanswered complaint; its Trustpilot profile has 24 reviews, 79% of them one star; its pages do not say who owns or operates it; and its GLP-1 page states the first month figure in two incompatible ways. The two independent records we read, Trustpilot and the BBB, are both short and unfavourable.
The practical reading is this. The things ElixaMD publishes (address, pharmacies, prescriber networks, prices, policy) are the things MEDVi publishes, and we could not tell from public pages what, if anything, ElixaMD adds. If you want that model, our MEDVi review sets out MEDVi's full public record, good and bad, so you can decide with the facts in front of you. None of this is medical advice; a clinician decides whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate for you.
ElixaMD vs MEDVi
On price the two are the same structure. ElixaMD: $99 for the first month, a sale price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). MEDVi's compounded GLP-1 injections are $99 for the first month, an introductory price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). Both prices are read daily from each provider's own page into our archive, so the figures here move when theirs do.
On what you can check, they differ. MEDVi has been reviewed on this site since September 2026 and has a long public record: a Trustpilot profile with more than fifteen thousand reviews, a BBB profile with hundreds of complaints, an FDA warning letter from February 2026 about how it labelled its compounded products, three federal lawsuits and the OpenLoop Health data breach, all set out with dates and sources in our MEDVi review. ElixaMD has a Trustpilot profile of a couple of dozen reviews and a BBB file from August 2026; we read those two profiles and did not research any FDA, court or press record for it. A short record is not a clean record; it is a short record.
If you have narrowed your choice to one of these two, read the MEDVi review in full, then compare its refund terms (a 72 hour cooling off window and a full refund on medical disqualification) with ElixaMD's shorter policy above. The MEDVi button below is an affiliate link: PCF may earn a commission if you sign up with MEDVi through it. There is no such arrangement with ElixaMD.

Compounded medication, and what that means
ElixaMD's programme uses compounded GLP-1 medication dispensed by the pharmacies it names. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. ElixaMD's own wording is that compound medications "are dispensed by state-licensed pharmacies but are not FDA approved".
Semaglutide and tirzepatide carry a boxed warning for the risk of thyroid C-cell tumours, including medullary thyroid carcinoma. They are not suitable if you or a close relative have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), so tell the clinician about that history.
A licensed clinician reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. A prescription is never guaranteed, and ElixaMD's refund policy says there is no guarantee of results.
ElixaMD: what it publishes, and what to know before you start
What ElixaMD publishes
- Publishes a postal address, a telephone number and an email address.
- Names the clinician networks (OpenLoop Health, CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s) and the three pharmacies that dispense its prescriptions.
- States plainly that its compounded medications are not FDA approved and that prescriptions follow a consultation.
- A full refund if the healthcare provider disqualifies you for a medical reason, and cancellation at any time by email or portal chat.
Worth knowing before you start
- Its Trustpilot profile had 24 reviews on 29 October 2026, 79% of them one star and 13% five star.
- The BBB rates it D+, citing one unanswered complaint and the short time the business has been operating; its BBB file was opened on 8 August 2026.
- Its page states the first month figure as both the programme price (the FAQ) and a membership on top of medication (a tile), without saying which applies.
- Its pages do not say who owns or operates ElixaMD, or which states it serves.
- Its refund policy, as we read it, names one refund, on medical disqualification, and says there is no guarantee of results.
- Compounded medications are not FDA approved.
Frequently asked questions
Is ElixaMD legit?
We do not rate whether a provider is legitimate. ElixaMD publishes a Newark, Delaware address, a telephone number, its clinician networks (OpenLoop Health, CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s) and its three partner pharmacies, and says its compounded medications are not FDA approved. Its public record is short and poor: 24 Trustpilot reviews with 79% one star, and a BBB rating of D+ on a file opened 8 August 2026 (read 29 October 2026). Its pages do not say who operates it.
How much does ElixaMD cost?
Compounded GLP-1 injections are $99 for the first month, an introductory sale price, then $199 for refills (checked 31 October 2026). The first month figure is a sale price in a "FALL Sale!" banner, not the monthly cost. ElixaMD's FAQ says it covers the physician review, a personalised plan, 1:1 guidance, a metabolic report and the medication, with no contract; a tile on the same page calls it a membership plus medication cost, so ask which applies before you pay.
Is ElixaMD the same company as MEDVi?
We could not confirm who operates ElixaMD, and we do not assert common ownership. What we can say is that the two sites publish the same street address (131 Continental Dr. Ste 305, Newark, DE 19713), the same three partner pharmacies (Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy, Beaker Pharmacy), the same clinician wording (OpenLoop Health, CareGLP Affiliated P.C.s), the same first month and refill price structure and the same page template (read 29 October 2026).
What do ElixaMD reviews say?
On 29 October 2026 Trustpilot showed 24 reviews of elixamd.com: 13% five star, 8% two star and 79% one star, with no four or three star reviews. The profile was claimed in September 2025 and Trustpilot noted no recent history of asking for reviews. We did not summarise individual reviews.
What is ElixaMD's BBB rating?
D+, read 29 October 2026. The BBB gives two reasons: failure to respond to 1 complaint and the length of time the business has been operating. The BBB file was opened on 8 August 2026.
Can I get a refund from ElixaMD?
ElixaMD's policy says you receive a full refund if its healthcare provider disqualifies you for a medical reason, and that you can cancel at any time by emailing help@elixamd.com or through the patient portal chat. We recorded no other refund term from it, and it says there is no guarantee of results (read 29 October 2026).
Which pharmacy fills ElixaMD prescriptions?
ElixaMD names three partner pharmacies on its site: Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama; RedRock Pharmacy in St. George, Utah; and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding in McKinney, Texas. It does not say which fills a given order. The same three are named on MEDVi's site.
Is ElixaMD FDA approved?
No telehealth service is FDA approved; the question is about the medicines. ElixaMD states that its compound medications are dispensed by state-licensed pharmacies but are not FDA approved. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.
Should I choose ElixaMD or MEDVi?
That is your call, and a clinician's. The two publish the same price structure, pharmacies and prescriber networks. MEDVi has a long public record, including an FDA warning letter, lawsuits and a large Trustpilot profile, all set out in our MEDVi review; ElixaMD has a small, mostly one star Trustpilot profile and a BBB file opened in August 2026. PCF may earn a commission if you sign up with MEDVi through the links on this page; it earns nothing from ElixaMD.
