Found Weight Loss Review

Edited by Gabriel BrocklesbyFounder & EditorFact-checkedLast updated

Found is a US online weight loss programme run by Found Health, Inc. It prices compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide by plan length, with a lower price if your insurance covers the clinical visits, and its clinicians can also prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines, billed separately.

This Found review covers what it costs with and without insurance, how the plans are billed, who provides the care and what its refund policy says. Found is operated by Found Health, Inc., and its clinicians are from contracted medical groups named in its Terms.

$169/mo

semaglutide, 12-month plan

12 months. Semaglutide, month to month $289/mo, Tirzepatide, month to month $359/mo, Tirzepatide, 12-month plan $239/mo

Checked 21 Oct 2026.

Quick verdict

Found is unusual in two ways: it can bill the clinical visits to insurance, and it can prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines as well as compounded ones. Its compounded prices are published per plan length, and the lowest ones belong to the 12-month plan, so the month to month price is what to compare. Check how a longer plan is billed before you pay, because the membership fee stops being refundable quickly and medication is never refundable. We make no claim about results, and we publish no rating.

Who Found is best for

People in the US who want a GLP-1 weight loss programme that can bill the clinical visits to their insurance, or who want one service that can prescribe either compounded or brand-name GLP-1 medicines, and who will check the plan length and how it is billed before paying.

This profile is designed to help users compare the program before beginning intake. It is not a recommendation that any treatment is appropriate.

Pricing and access

Found's Offer Terms price the compounded GLP-1 plan per medication and plan length. Paying cash, compounded semaglutide is $289 a month on a 1-month plan and $169 a month on a 12-month plan, and compounded tirzepatide is $359 and $239, checked 21 Oct 2026. The lower figure is the 12-month plan. Found's pricing page says its lowest prices are based on 12-month plans paid up front, while its Offer Terms describe every plan as billed every 4 weeks, so confirm how a longer plan is billed before you pay.

Found describes the compounded plan price as all-in: clinical care, the medication and the membership. Brand-name GLP-1 medicines and any labs are billed separately. With insurance the plan price is lower, but copays, coinsurance and deductibles are extra, and the insurance price is not available to people on government plans such as Medicare or Medicaid.

Treatment, consultation, and delivery

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide injections, sent to a licensed US compounding pharmacy that Found does not name. Found's clinicians can also prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines, which you buy separately, and some non-GLP-1 oral medicines. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

An online assessment, then a consultation with a clinician from one of Found's contracted medical groups. A licensed clinician reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. With insurance, Found says video visits are required and each is billed to your insurance at your copay; paying cash, care is by text in most cases. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Compounded medication is shipped to your door if it is prescribed. Brand-name GLP-1 medicines are filled through a pharmacy you choose, or through the manufacturer's own direct programmes for cash pay.

Found pricing, by plan length

Found's Offer Terms (last updated 26 August 2025) price the compounded GLP-1 plan as an all-in monthly price covering clinical care, the medication and the membership, billed every 4 weeks. Paying cash, compounded semaglutide is $289 a month on a 1-month plan and $169 a month on a 12-month plan; compounded tirzepatide is $359 and $239, checked 21 Oct 2026. Plans of 3 and 6 months sit in between.

The lower figure is the 12-month plan. Found's pricing page says its lowest prices are based on 12-month plans paid up front, while its Offer Terms describe every plan as billed every 4 weeks, so confirm how a longer plan is billed before you pay.

With insurance covering the clinical visits, the same plans are lower: from $99 a month for semaglutide on a 12-month plan and $199 on a 1-month plan, and from $179 and $289 for tirzepatide, read on 21 October 2026. Copays, coinsurance and deductibles are on top, and the insurance price is not available to people on government plans such as Medicare or Medicaid.

New members on a 1-month plan get an automatic discount on the first month. Brand-name GLP-1 medicines and any labs are not included in the compounded plan price.

How Found works

You complete an online assessment and can start with a free insurance check. A clinician then reviews your profile and, if treatment is appropriate, prescribes it; Found says most members can start within a week.

A licensed clinician reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. With insurance, Found says video visits are required and each is billed to your insurance at your copay; paying cash, care is by text in most cases. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Compounded medication is shipped to your door. Brand-name GLP-1 medicines are filled through a pharmacy you choose, or through the manufacturers' own direct programmes if you pay cash, and are billed separately.

Refunds and cancellation, in Found's words

Found's Refund Policy says the membership fee is fully refunded if you cancel within 3 days of buying, or before you complete your first medical consultation. After either, the membership fee is non-refundable, whether or not you have used the service.

Medications and lab kits cannot be refunded or returned once they are dispensed or shipped, and copays are not refundable.

If a clinician decides you are not eligible for any treatment, the membership fee is refunded in full. Being ruled out for one medication while still eligible for others does not qualify.

Renewal payments are non-refundable, so Found recommends cancelling or pausing at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Its policy also says that starting a chargeback may affect whether you can keep using the service.

Who is behind Found

Found's Terms name Found Health, Inc. as the company that runs the platform. The medical care is provided by clinicians from medical groups Found contracts with, which its Terms list: the Pippen Health practices, the Cloud Health Medical Group practices, and Adept Labs, Inc. (Vital) with its affiliate Openloop Healthcare Partners.

Found says compounded prescriptions are sent to a licensed US compounding pharmacy, but it does not name the pharmacy.

Compounded medication, and what that means

Found's semaglutide and tirzepatide plans use compounded medication. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

Found's clinicians can also prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines that are FDA approved. Those are bought separately, through insurance or for cash, and are not part of the compounded plan price.

Safety, prescribing and who can sign up

Semaglutide and tirzepatide carry a boxed warning for the risk of thyroid C-cell tumours, including medullary thyroid carcinoma. They are not suitable if you or a close relative have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), so tell the clinician about that history.

A licensed clinician makes the prescribing decision, and a prescription is never guaranteed.

Found serves the US. It says compounded medicines and some prescriptions are not available in every state, and it accepts insurance in a listed set of states, which the sign-up checks for you.

Our reviews of each provider are built only from what it states on its own site, with dated prices, and our cheapest GLP-1 guide ranks every provider's current month to month price side by side.
