GobyMeds Review

Edited by Gabriel BrocklesbyFounder & EditorFact-checkedLast updated

GobyMeds is a US online weight loss service run by Goby Health LLC. It sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as one-off orders, a single month or a 3-month starter bundle paid in one payment, with no membership, subscription or insurance billing, and its clinicians come from two medical groups it names.

This GobyMeds review covers what it costs, how its orders are paid, who provides the care, what its refund terms say and what its public record shows. GobyMeds is operated by Goby Health LLC, and its clinicians are from the medical groups named in its telemedicine consent.

$169/mo

semaglutide, single month

1 month. Tirzepatide, single month $299/mo

Checked 22 Oct 2026.

Quick verdict

GobyMeds suits someone who wants to pay per order rather than join a membership: there is no subscription, and nothing renews unless you place a new order. Its headline monthly figure belongs to the 3-month starter bundle, paid in one go, so the single month price is the one to compare. Prescriptions are final sale once an order is under way, and its BBB record shows unanswered complaints, so read the terms before you pay. We make no claim about results, and we publish no rating.

Who GobyMeds is best for

People in the US who want to pay for compounded GLP-1 treatment one order at a time, without a membership or a subscription that renews, and who are comfortable that GobyMeds does not bill insurance and treats prescriptions as final sale.

This profile is designed to help users compare the program before beginning intake. It is not a recommendation that any treatment is appropriate.

Pricing and access

GobyMeds prices compounded semaglutide at $99 a month on its 3-month starter bundle ($299 in one payment) or from $169 for a single month, and compounded tirzepatide at $133 a month on the starter bundle ($399) or from $299 for a single month, checked 22 Oct 2026. The lower monthly figure is the 3-month starter bundle for first-time patients, paid in one payment for 12 weeks. A single month is a from price, and GobyMeds sells each order as a one-off payment with no subscription or auto-renewal.

GobyMeds says each plan includes the provider visit, follow-ups, an injection kit and refrigerated shipping. It does not bill insurance; HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Higher doses cost more on the longer bundles, and brand-name GLP-1 medicines are priced separately.

US. GobyMeds does not publish a list of the states it serves; care depends on a provider licensed where you are.

Treatment, consultation, and delivery

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide injections in a multi-dose vial, sent to a 503A or 503B pharmacy that GobyMeds does not name. Some compounded medication includes vitamin B12, B6 or glycine, and GobyMeds offers an option without them. Its clinicians can also prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines at a separate price. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

An online quiz and intake, then a review by a licensed provider from one of the medical groups GobyMeds names. A licensed clinician reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Refrigerated shipping is included. GobyMeds says medication typically arrives in two to five business days after it is prescribed and shipped.

GobyMeds pricing, by order

GobyMeds' pricing page sells compounded GLP-1 treatment as orders, not plans that renew. The 3-month starter bundle for first-time patients is $299 for semaglutide (the page prints $99 a month) and $399 for tirzepatide ($133 a month), each covering 12 weeks of medication, shipping, the consultation and an injection kit. A single month at any dose is from $169 for semaglutide and from $299 for tirzepatide, checked 22 Oct 2026.

The lower monthly figure is the 3-month starter bundle for first-time patients, paid in one payment for 12 weeks. A single month is a from price, and GobyMeds sells each order as a one-off payment with no subscription or auto-renewal.

For patients past the starter dose, 2-month and 3-month bundles are priced by dose band, so a higher dose costs more. Brand-name GLP-1 medicines are listed at a separate monthly price. GobyMeds does not bill insurance, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

How GobyMeds works

You take an online quiz and complete an intake. A licensed provider reviews your information and, if treatment may be appropriate, issues a prescription that is sent to a pharmacy licensed in your state. A prescription is never guaranteed.

A licensed clinician reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you. GobyMeds' Terms say it is a technology and administrative platform: it does not practice medicine, prescribe, dispense or run a pharmacy.

Medication is shipped refrigerated, and GobyMeds says it typically arrives in two to five business days. To continue, you place a new order and go through the clinical review again.

Payment, cancellation and refunds, in GobyMeds' words

GobyMeds' Terms say it works on a single payment per order, with no subscriptions, memberships or automatic renewals, and that payment is due when the order is placed unless checkout says otherwise. Its FAQ says your card is charged once a provider writes a prescription and it is shipped from the pharmacy, so check when you will be charged at checkout.

If you cancel before clinical review starts, or a provider does not prescribe, the Terms promise a full refund with no consultation fee.

If you cancel after clinical review or after the order is being processed, GobyMeds may keep a consultation fee of $50. Once medication is dispensed or shipped it generally cannot be returned or refunded, and the FAQ says that, due to FDA regulations, all prescriptions are final sale and non-refundable.

The Terms include binding arbitration and a class action waiver.

Who is behind GobyMeds

GobyMeds' Terms name Goby Health LLC, doing business as GobyMeds, as the company that runs the platform, with an address in Dover, Delaware. Its telemedicine consent says visits are provided by one of two medical groups in its network: Beluga Health, P.A. or CareValidate, Inc.

GobyMeds says prescriptions go to a 503A or 503B pharmacy partner licensed in your state, but it does not name the pharmacy. It shows a LegitScript seal; we could not check it ourselves because LegitScript's checker needs a CAPTCHA.

Compounded medication, and what that means

GobyMeds' semaglutide and tirzepatide plans use compounded medication. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness.

GobyMeds says some compounded GLP-1 medication includes vitamin B12, vitamin B6 or glycine, and that it offers an option without these additives. Its providers can also prescribe brand-name GLP-1 medicines that are FDA approved, at a separate price.

Safety, prescribing and who can sign up

Semaglutide and tirzepatide carry a boxed warning for the risk of thyroid C-cell tumours, including medullary thyroid carcinoma. They are not suitable if you or a close relative have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), so tell the clinician about that history.

A licensed provider makes the prescribing decision, and a prescription is never guaranteed. You must be 18 or over.

GobyMeds serves the US but does not publish a list of states. Its Terms say care is only available where a participating provider is licensed and where you are physically located at the time of care.

GobyMeds reputation

The Better Business Bureau rates Goby Health LLC F, read on 22 October 2026. The reasons it gives are 5 complaints filed against the business and a failure to respond to 4 of them. The company is not BBB accredited, and its BBB file was opened in August 2025. A BBB rating is not a clinical or regulatory finding.

Trustpilot shows GobyMeds at 4.5 from 1,250 reviews, read on 22 October 2026, with 83% five-star and 6% one-star. GobyMeds invites customers to review, pays for a Trustpilot subscription and, Trustpilot says, has replied to 100% of negative reviews. These are customers' accounts, not findings.

We found no FDA warning letter for GobyMeds when we searched the FDA's database on 22 October 2026. That is a statement about one search on one day.

Our reviews of each provider are built only from what it states on its own site, with dated prices, and our cheapest GLP-1 guide ranks every provider's current month to month price side by side.
